Our small-group classes are designed for adults of all experience levels — whether you’re completely new to painting or simply looking for a relaxing, hands-on artistic experience.
Each class is taught by Maggie Kehoe, an experienced artist and instructor who makes learning fun, personal, and rewarding.

Join us for a fun and creative Fluid Art Painting Class inside our spacious 500 sq. ft. Cary studio!
In this small, relaxed group session, you’ll learn how to create stunning abstract pieces using a variety of fluid art techniques — no prior experience required.
Under the guidance of instructor Maggie Kehoe, you’ll discover how to mix paints, control flow, and layer colors to achieve beautiful marbled effects.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike who want to unwind, experiment, and leave with two completed paintings of their own.
Saturday, August 8 — Fluid Art Painting Class
Class Agenda
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM Intro to Fluid Art, review class handout, mix paints, and demo painting
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Create your first painting with instructor guidance as needed
3:00 PM – 3:45 PM Review your work, discuss techniques and challenges, create your second painting
3:45 PM – 4:30 PM If time permits, make a festive holiday ornament using leftover paint, then clean up
What’s Included
Two canvases per student
Artist-quality paints (Amsterdam, Golden, and Liquitex)
Written handout with paint-mixing recipes and materials list for at-home practice
All tools and materials provided

Private Class Option
Prefer a more personal experience?
Book a private class for 1–2 people at $75 for 2-3 hours, including all materials.
Private sessions are perfect for couples, friends, or anyone who wants focused instruction at their own pace.
Includes use of all studio materials including paints, pouring mediums, varnishes, tools, and up to (2) canvases not to exceed 12”x12”.
Already familiar with fluid art and just want space to create?
Reserve dedicated Studio Time and enjoy using Maggie’s well-equipped studio, complete with quality paints, pouring mediums, and a relaxed creative environment.
Studio Time Rates:
$75 Studio time 1 person for up to 3 hours
$35 for each additional 60 minutes
Includes all studio tools and materials
Bring your project ideas, and enjoy uninterrupted time to pour, experiment, and have fun!

Seating is limited — classes fill up quickly!
Refunds or reschedules are available with 48-hour notice.
Students must be 18 or older unless otherwise arranged.
Please wear clothes suitable for painting — aprons are provided but splashes can happen!
